The Annual General Meeting of the ICSW was hosted by the Port Authority of Marseille. The AGM was preceded by meetings of the ICSW working groups as well as the Presidium meeting.
Among the important decisions taken by the AGM were the opening of the ICSW to Corporate Associate members (see press release), and the approval of a new project called Daily Electronic News Service for Seafarers, which will be implemented by PSAP. The Presidium had recommended to the AGM to include the Daily Electronic News Service in the ICSW work programme, with a request that an ITF Seafarers’ Trust grant application be submitted.
