Under the able hand of Pinoy Captain Rod Failma, the car carrier MV Noble Ace, GT 38,795, is crewed only with the best hands.

The proud and noble (magiting) Filipinos aboard the Noble Ace have gladly shown their high aces to PSAP-Parola, which includes the big champ Mr. Cirilo Quisado.

Known to the Noble Ace crew as ‘Arnold Zwarzeneger’, Cirilo Quisado, 36, is the guy to reckon with who stands tall at 3’7”. No one messes around with this messman!

If you think he’s associated with the fabled hobbits, you’re probably right. Cirilo appeared as an actor in the 1980s movie “The Hobbits”. And he worked in one of Manila’s famous restaurants called “The Hobbit House”. Roaming the world as a seafarer since 1992, Cirilo bears an important mission, like the anointed hobbit in “The Lord of the Rings”.

To the credit of Fairmont/Magsaysay Shipping who knew where to find good luck, the company management gladly welcomed Cirilo to their big maritime family. This jovial guy brings zest, cheer and camaraderie to everyone, as Captain Failma and the rest of his crew know only too well.

Cirilo believes that all things are possible, especially to those who serve well and do good. Who can argue with a nimble man who just looks smaller than the rest of us but then sails the seven seas with a bigger heart?
