STENA DISCOVERY

On June 1, 2006, the Filipino crew of the MV Stena Line was visited by COMELEC Commissioner FLORENTINO TUASON, JR., Chairman of the Committee on Overseas Absentee Voting. PSAP facilitated the ship visit of the Commissioner and staff of the Philippine Embassy. The visit also served as a special opportunity for the crew to register as absentee voters for the 2007 national elections.

The Stena Discovery is known as the biggest and fastest catamaran in the world. Stena Lines’ Discovery, unfortunately, will stop sailing in January 2007.
